When I told my mentor (who will probobly go unnamed, considering how this is being posted to the internet, and I'm not sure how he feels about his name here,) that I wanted to start with Nietzsche, he said that i should start with two books, the first being a huge collection of his essays, including the Genealogy of Morals, and Thus Spake Zarathustra, and a few days later also recomended the Oxford A Very Short Introduction's series copy on Nietzsche. I ordered Zarathustra that night from Amazon (to my dismay i just couldn't wait for my local bookstore[The Bookloft, a lovley place,] to get the copy, I was really anxious to start,) and received it less than a day later. Which was actually, amazing. Maybe that has to do with my infatuation with UPS (I applied to be a Holiday Helper this year, but college applications became my priority,) or having never received anything in less than a day. But anyway, that night, I started to read the Prologue of Zarathustra, twelve pages...amazing, to say the least, and I've read it...what? four times? It's been about three days now since I've gotten my first taste of Nietzsche and I'm writing my first content based posting. It may take a little, as this is already my second day working on it, but im determined to have it done later tonight. Tommorrow, reading chapters I-XIV and a meeting with my mentor on Monday.
First content based reflection posting on the Prologue soon.
